Abstract
Ekološki pristup uzgoju raznih biljnih kulturasve se više primjenjuje u poljoprivredite je biološko suzbijanje biljnih bolesti jedna od ključnih mjera za njegovu uspješnost. Biološka kontrola je suzbijanje štetnih aktivnosti jednog organizma od strane jednog ili više drugih organizama nazvanih prirodnim neprijateljima. U ovom radu su opisani različiti mehanizmi djelovanja biološkog suzbijanja biljnih bolesti, kao što su antibioza, parazitizam i kompeticija. Opisani su načini djelovanja biopesticida na bazi gljiva, virusa i kvasaca kao i djelovanja nekih antagonističnih bakterija i gljiva na suzbijanje biljnih bolesti. Iz pregleda rezultata vidljivo je da upotreba bioloških sredstava treba postati sastavni dio kontrole biljnih bolesti čime bi se mogli poboljšati ukupni učinci biljne proizvodnje.
Abstract (english)
The ecological approach to breeding of different cultures in agriculture is being applied all over the world and the biological control of plant diseases is one of the major measures. Biological control is the suppression of harmful activities of one organism by one or more other organisms, often called natural enemies. In this paper, different mechanisms of action of biological suppression of plant diseases have been described and in several examples the modes of action of the biological agent on some of the plant diseases have been described. Biological control agents should become an integral part of the production managment of a particular culture where biological control agents are essential but the success of culture is not solely dependent on their activity
