Soil is the foundation of all terrestrial ecosystems and represents the main source of resources for plant and animal life in the environment. In the modern world, one of the most common pollutants of agricultural soil are various types of pesticides and microplastics. In this research, a test of the reproduction of two species of springtails, F. candida and S. curviseta, was carried out. Organisms were exposed to different concentrations of pesticides (Quadris) and microplastics (PVC 63 – 125 µm) and different ratios of their mixtures. In the case of the impact of pesticides on both species, it was observed that F. candida species had a greater inhibition of reproduction. Also, the analysis of dose-response curves concluded that the influence of pesticides is more dangerous for the species F. candida. Furthermore, regarding the influence of microplastics (PVC) on organisms, it was observed that inhibition of reproduction was quite similar for both species, but a greater reduction in the number of individuals was shown by the species F. candida. The analysis of the dose-response curve concluded that the appearance of microplastics (PVC) is equally dangerous for both species. Under the influence of the mixtures, antagonism was observed in the species F. candida, while synergism was observed in the species S. curviseta. The results indicate the importance of studying the interactions of pesticides, microplastics and their mixtures on organisms in the soil in order to better assess ecological risks and predict harmful consequences in the environment
