Abstract
Stanični blokovi su lako izvodljiva metoda obrade citoloških uzoraka za dijagnoze malignih bolesti. Potrebno je odabrati prikladnu metodu te ju odraditi po protokolu. Postoji nekolicina metoda priprave staničnih blokova, te svaka ima svoju primjenu u različitim situacijama. Metode imaju određene nedostatke koji mogu utjecati na strukture stanice unutar uzorka. Radi se na usavršavanju i pojednostavljenju postojećih metoda kako bi pripravljeni uzorci bili pogodni za potrebe daljnjih analiza. Stanični blokovi su sve zastupljenija metoda, uz ostale histološke metode, u dijagnozi i prediktivnoj analizi malignih bolesti.
Abstract (english)
Cell blocks are an easily feasible method of processing cytological samples for the diagnosis of malignant diseases. It is necessary to choose a suitable method and perform it according to the protocol. There are several methods for preparation of cell blocks, each of which has its own application in different situations. The methods have certain drawbacks that can affect the cell structures within the sample. Efforts are being made to improve and simplify existing methods to ensure that prepared samples are suitable for further analysis. Cell blocks are an increasingly used method, along with other histological methods in the diagnosis and predictive analysis of malignant diseases.
