Abstract
Algalni mikrobiom čine mikroorganizmi koji stvaraju zajednice s algama, u kojima njihovo međudjelovanje utječe na rast, proizvodnju biomase i metabolita te preživljavanje. Njihov odnos važan je za cjelokupni živi svijet i regulaciju uvjeta na Zemlji. Algalni mikrobiom sve je popularnija tema brojnih istraživanja te su u radu obuhvaćene nove spoznaje o rasprostranjenosti i biološkoj raznolikosti algalnog mikrobioma, njegovim osobinama i svojstvima te važnosti u razvoju biološki orijentirane industrije, biotehnologije te u obnovi i očuvanju okoliša.
Abstract (english)
The algal microbiome, a community of microorganisms that interact with algae, significantly influences growth, biomass production, and metabolite generation. This interaction is essential for the entire living and regulating environmental conditions on Earth. The algal microbiome is a topic of increasing interest in various research fields, so this work is contributing new knowledge about its distribution, biological diversity, characteristics, and properties, as well as its role in the development of biologically oriented industry, biotechnology, and most importantly, environmental restoration and preservation.
