Abstract
Neuroregeneracija je ograničen i složen proces koji se razlikuje unutar perifernog i centralnog živčanog sustava. U posljednjih nekoliko godina pruženi su dokazi o važnoj ulozi različitih tipova prehrane (keto, mediteranski, zapadnjački, vegeterijanski, veganski, makrobiotički) kao i određenih makronutrijenata i mikronutrijenata u vidu stimuliranja i ubrzavanja procesa neuroregeneracije. Pozitivni učinci prehrane na neuroregeneraciju upućuju na veliki potencijal za razvoj neuroreparativnih terapija na bazi prehrane s određenim udjelom određenih nutrijenata za liječenje ozljeda živaca i neurodegenerativnih bolesti koje su trenutno neizlječive, a njihov trend obolijevanja je u porastu.
Abstract (english)
Neuroregeneration is a limited i complex process that differs within the peripheral i central nervous systems. In recent years, evidence has been provided on the important role of different types of diets (keto, Mediterranean, Western, vegetarian, vegan, macrobiotic) as well as certain macronutrients i micronutrients in the form of stimulating i accelerating the process of neuroregeneration. The positive effects of nutrition on neuroregeneration indicate great potential for the development of neuroreparative diet-based therapies with a certain proportion of certain nutrients for the treatment of nerve injuries i neurodegenerative diseases that are currently incurable, i their trend of illness is on the rise.
