Abstract
Proteom i lipidom mijelina središnjeg i perifernog živčanog sustava velikim su dijelom jednaki u svome sastavu. Proteomi se razlikuju u najzastupljenijem proteinu (proteolipidni protein u središnjem živčanom sustavu i protein nula u perifernom živčanom sustavu) dok im je drugi najzastupljeniji protein (bazični mijelinski protein) jednak, ali je zastupljen s različitim udjelima (30% u središnjem, a 18% u mijelinu perifernog živčanog sustava). Iako sadrže i mnogo drugih proteina njihovi udjeli su vrlo mali. Razlike između lipidoma vidljive su u udjelu pojedinih lipida od čega se ističe povećani udio fosfatidilkolina i sfingomijelina u mijelinu perifernog živčanog sustava u odnosu na udio istih u mijelinu središnjeg živčanog sustava. S obzirom na sve jasnije razumijevanje proteoma mijelina očekuje se da će se u budućnosti sve više proteina i njihovih gena moći povezati sa nastankom različitih demijelinizacijskih bolesti kako bi se one mogle unaprijed spriječiti ili adekvatno liječiti
Abstract (english)
Proteom and lipidom of myelin of the central and peripheral nervous system are largely equal in their composition. Proteomes differ in the most abundant protein (proteolipid protein in the central nervous system and protein zero in the peripheral nervous system) while their second most abundant protein (basic myelin protein) is the same, but is represented by different proportions (30% in the central and 18% in myelin of the peripheral nervous system). Although they contain many other proteins, their proportions are very small. Differences between lipidomes are visible in the share of individual lipids, of which the increased share of phosphatidylcholine and sphingomyelin in the myelin of the peripheral nervous system in relation to their share in the myelin of the central nervous system stands out. Given the increasingly clear understanding of myelin proteomes, it is expected that in the future more and more proteins and their genes will be able to be associated with the development of various myelination diseases so that they can be prevented or adequately treated
