Abstract
Istraživanje raznolikosti i relativne zastupljenosti dijatomeja u obraštaju na trsci u dvama šaranskim ribnjacima - ribnjaku s ribljom mlađi te s odraslom konzumnom ribom, provedeno je na ribnjaku „Donji Miholjac“ u razdoblju od lipnja do listopada 2022. godine. Ekološki uvjeti u ribnjacima, kao i zastupljenost pojedinih vrsta dijatomeja u obraštaju na trsci mijenjali su se ovisno o sezonskim čimbenicima, ali i o tipu ribnjaka. U odnosu na ribnjak s mlađi, u ribnjaku s odraslom ribom utvrđene su više vrijednosti prozirnosti te više koncentracije ukupnog fosfora. U ribnjaku s mlađi utvrđen je veći sadržaj kisika i klorofila u vodi te više koncentracije dušikovih spojeva, posebice amonijevih iona, nitrata te ukupnog dušika. U obraštaju su bile dobro zastupljene dijatomeje karakteristične za eutrofne vode, a u oba ribnjaka je brojnošću dominirala vrsta Achnanthidium minutissimum.
Abstract (english)
The research on the diversity and relative abundance of diatoms in the periphyton in two carp ponds - a pond with juvenile fish and another with mature consumable fish - was conducted at the "Donji Miholjac" fishpond from June to October 2022. The ecological conditions in the ponds and the representation of diatom species in the periphyton varied depending on seasonal factors and the type of pond. Compared to the pond with juvenile fish, the pond with mature fish showed higher transparency values and higher total phosphorus concentrations. The pond with juvenile fish had higher oxygen and chlorophyll content in the water and higher concentrations of nitrogen compounds, especially ammonium ions, nitrates, and total nitrogen. The periphyton was well represented by diatoms characteristic for eutrophic waters, and in both ponds, the species Achnanthidium minutissimum dominated in terms of abundance
