Abstract
U ovom radu opisane su odabrane virusne bolesti značajne u komercijalnom uzgoju biljaka. U uvodnom dijelu radu navode se osnovni podaci o povijesti virusa, njihovim osobinama, promjenama koje uzrokuju i načina na koji se virusi šire unutar i između biljaka. Detaljnije su opisana svojstva sljedećih komercijalno značajnih virusa: virus mozaika duhana, virus mozaika krastavca, virus šarke šljive, virus mozaika ovsika, x-virus krumpira i virus mozaika pšenice.
Abstract (english)
This thesis describes selected viral diseases important in commercial plant cultivation. In the introduction, basic information about the history of viruses, their characteristics, the changes they cause and the way in which viruses spread within and between plants is given. The properties of the following commercially important viruses are described in detail: tobacco mosaic virus, cucumber mosaic virus, plum pox virus, brome mosaic virus, potato virus X and wheat streak mosaic virus.
