Abstract
Potoci su manje, plitke tekućice. U ovom radu istražena je zajednica makrozoobentosa Drenovačkog potoka u parku prirode Papuk. Provedeno je jednodnevno uzorkovanje makrozoobentosa uz pomoć ručne bentos mreže. Izmjereni fizikalno – kemijski parametri (temperatura, pH, električna vodljivost, otopljeni kisik) su u skladu s godišnjim dobom te očekivanim vrijednostima za brdski potok. Cilj istraživanja bio je upoznati se sa sastavom i strukturom zajednice makrozoobentosa brdskog potoka. Zabilježena je najveća raznolikost Insecta te izrazita dominantnost skupine Amphipoda u odnosu na ostale taksonomske skupine, što povezujemo s dobrim ekološkim stanjem vode, dostupnim mikrostaništima te listincem kao izvorom hrane za rakušce.
Abstract (english)
Streams are small, shallow watercourses. In this paper, the macrozoobenthos community of theDrenovac stream was investigated. One-day sampling of macrozoobenthos was performed using a benthos hand net. The measured physico - chemical parameters (temperature, pH, electrical conductivity, dissolved oxygen) were in accordance with the season and the expected values for the mountain stream. The aim of this research was to study the composition and structure of the macrozoobenthos community of a mountain stream. Highest diversity of Insecta was recorded and asubstantial dominance of amphipodscompared to other taxonomic, what can be related to the high quality of the water, various microhabitats and leaves, as good food source for amphipods.
