Abstract
Fitoremedijacija je metoda čišćenja okoliša od štetnih tvari uzgojem biljaka na kontaminiranim područjima koje imaju sposobnost neutralizacije i degradacije štetnih tvari. Zbog povećanja efikasnosti, uzgajaju se biljke sa genima iz sisavaca, ljudi i mikroorganizama koji se ne nalaze prirodno u biljci. Ekspresija novih gena dovodi do stvaranja metabolizma i otpornosti na štetne tvari u okolišu. Apsorpcijom tih tvari iz tla i zraka moguće je na čist i efikasan način očistiti kontaminirana područja.
Abstract (english)
Phytoremediaton is a method for purifying the environment from pollutants by cultivating plants in contaminated areas which have the ability to neutralize and degrade pollutants. For higher efficiency, plants are raised with genes from mammals, humans and microorganisms which don't occur naturally in plant. The expression of new genes allow plants to develop metabolism and resistances to pollutants in environment. Absorption of these substances purifies the air and soil in contaminated areas in a clean and efficient way.
