Abstract
Potreba za ekološki prihvatljivim kemijskim postupcima dovela je do velike zainteresiranosti za područje mehanokemije. U ovom radu kumarinski semikarbazidi su sintetizirani pomoću mehaničke energije u kugličnom mlinu bez korištenja otapala i ispitana je njihova antioksidacijska aktivnost. Spojevi nisu pokazali biološki značajnu aktivnost, ali stečene su vrijedne spoznaje o prednostima mehanokemijskih u usporedbi s konvencionalnim metodama sinteze semikarbazida.
Abstract (english)
The need for ecologically acceptable chemical procedures has led to a growing interest in the field of mechanochemistry. In this research, coumarin semicarbazides were synthetized using mechanical energy in a homogenizer without the use of a solvent and their antioxidant activity was tested. Compounds did not show any significant biological activity but valuable information were acquired about advantages of mechanochemical methods compared to conventional ones in the synthesis of semicarbazide derivatives.
