Abstract
Voda je neophodna za život, kako nama tako i ostalim organizmima. Čovjek vrši prevelik pritisak na vode, njegov utjecaj se u zadnjih par godina posebno povećao. Porastom stanovništva slatkovodni ekološki sustavi pate jer osiguravaju vodu za različite ljudske djelatnosti. Razvojem industrije i poljoprivrede došlo je do stvaranja prevelikog pritiska na vode i ispuštanja štetnih tvari u njih. Oslobađanjem štetnih tvari u prirodu, a posebno u vodu onečistili smo i zagadili većinu vodenih ekoloških sustava i ugrozili živi svijet u njima.
Abstract (english)
Water is essential for life, both for us and for other living organisms. Humans put too much pressure on freshwaters ecosystems, so his influence has increased in the last few years. As human population grows, freshwater ecosystems suffer because they need to provide humanity with water for different activities. With the development of industry and agriculture, there has been too much pressure on waters and to many harmful substances released into them. By releasing harmful substances into nature, people have polluted most water ecosystems and have endangered the living world that lives in them.
