Abstract
Alergijske bolesti nasljedne su bolesti čija se učestalost značajno povećala u posljednjih 50 godina. Istraživanjima je utvrđena njihova korelacija s ekspresijom pojedinih gena, a simptomi alergijskih reakcija posljedica su kaskadnih reakcija i međudjelovanja upalnih procesa. Novi pristupi u istraživanjima kao što su Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) i Genome Wide Association Studies (GWAS) omogućavaju ispitivanje različitih kategorija unutar i između populacija te razvijaju strategije za upravljanje velikom količinom podataka s ciljem otkrivanja poveznica između ekspresije određenih gena i alergijskih bolesti.
Abstract (english)
Allergic diseases are hereditary diseases whose frequency has increased significantly in the last 50 years. Studies have established their connection with the expression of individual genes, and the symptoms of allergic reactions are the result of cascading reactions and the interaction of inflammatory processes. New approaches in research such as Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Genome Wide Association Studies (GWAS) allow the examination of different categories within and between populations and develop strategies to manage large quantities of data I order to discover links between certain gene expression and allergic diseases.
