Abstract
Planinski vodenjak je vrsta vodozemaca čija je sezona parenja pod velikim utjecajem vremenskih uvjeta, prvenstveno temperature zraka i količine padalina. Za vrijeme parenja mužjaci i ženke borave u plitkim lokvama i bazenima na šumskim cestama nastalih prometovanjem vozila. Količina vode u lokvama se mijenja tijekom sezone te su jedinke sklone migracijama tijekom jedne reproduktivne sezone. U ovom istraživanju proučavana je brojnost jedinki planinskog vodenjaka na području Južne Požeške gore. Pomoću prikupljenih podataka uspoređena je njihova pojavnost u sezoni 2016. i 2017. ovisno o vremenskim čimbenicima i antropogenim promjenama staništa. Ovisno o padalinama i temperaturi uočena je značajna razlika u omjeru ulovljenih mužjaka i ženki.
Abstract (english)
Alipine newts are amphibians whose mating season is heavily influenced by weather conditions, primarily air temperature and rainfall rates. During mating, males and females stay in shallow water bodies and pools on forest roads created by vehicles. The amount of water in the ponds changes during the season and the individuals are prone to migrations during a reproduction season. In this study, the number of alpine newts in the area of South Požega hill was studied. Based on collected data, their occurrence was compared in the seasons 2016 and 2017, depending on weather factors and anthropogenic changes in habitats. Depending on the precipitation and air temperature, there was a significant difference in the ratio of caught males and females.
