Abstract
Divlji kesten prirodno je rasprostranjen u juţnoj Europi, ali se zbog svojih karakteristika danas koristi kao ukrasno drvo u različitim sredinama u kojima je izloţen napadu patogena koji uzrokuju razne bolesti. Najčešći uzročnici bolesti divljeg kestena su: gljiva Guignardia aesculi, kestenov moljac miner Cameraria ohridella, bakterija Pseudomonas syringae pv. aesculi te gljiva Glomerella cingulata. Najčešći simptom bolesti koje uzrokuju patogeni je defolijacija. U svrhu zaštite kestena koriste se mehaničke i kemijske metode suzbijanja uzročnika bolesti.
Abstract (english)
Horse chestnut is naturally widespread in south Europe but because of its characteristics it is used as an ornamental tree in different environments where it is exposed to pathogens that cause various diseases. The most common disease-causing agents of horse chestnut diseases are: Guignardia aesculi, Cameraria ohridella, Pseudomonas syringae pv. Aesculi and Glomerella cingulata. The most frequent symptom caused by pathogens is defoliation. For the purpose of prevention mechanical and chemical methods are used to eliminate the causes.
