Abstract
Ivanjski rovaš (Ablepharus kitaibelli) jedan je od najmanjih europskih guštera, a ujedno i najmanja vrsta guštera u Hrvatskoj. Rasprostranjenost vrste u Hrvatskoj ograničena je na izoliranim populacijama na planini Papuk i gradskom parku u Iloku zbog specifičnih klimatskih i edafskih uvjeta te ljudske prisutnosti. Potrebno je povećati zaštitu staništa kako ne bi došlo do gubitka populacija na tim područjima i kako bi se očuvala vrsta.
Abstract (english)
European snake-eyedskink (Ablepharus kitaibelli) is one of Europe's smallest lizard, and alsothes mallest species of lizards in Croatia. Distribution of the speciesin Croatia is limited to isolated populations on mountain Papuk and the city park in Ilok due to specific climatic and edaphic conditions, and human presence. It is necessary to increase the protection of habitats in order to prevent the loss of population in these areas and to preserve species.
