Abstract
Semikonzervativna replikacija proces je umnažanja DNA molekule koji uključuje razdvajanje roditeljskog lanca, replikaciju istog te nastanak dvije molekule DNA od kojih svaka ima po jedan roditeljski lanac i jedan novosintetizirani lanac koji je komplementaran roditeljskom. Proces replikacije složen je i izvodi ga mnoštvo enzima. Tijekom replikacije, ali i zbog okolišnih čimbenika događaju se pogrješke. Te pogrješke moraju biti ispravljene mehanizmima popravka kojih ima nekoliko i također ih izvode razni enzimi.
Abstract (english)
Semiconservative DNA replication is the proces of duplicating DNA molecule which involves the separation of parental chains and replicating them. When they replicate two daughter molecule appear and they each have one parental strand and one newly sintesized strand complementary to parental strand. Replication process is very complex and involves a number of enzymes. During replication and because of environmental factors mistakes in Dna molecule appear. Mistakes need to be corrected with repair mechanisms which also involve different enzymes.
